Events

Chico Map events range from average club meetings to panels and seminars.

Average club meetings are for students only -- in order for them to work out their thoughts/ideas without the pressure of professors being there. This also helps to amplify the voices of students who may have felt like professors did not take their ideas seriously.

For panels, seminars, or events with guest speakers, we welcome faculty, staff, and other professionals to join -- as it can be a learning experience for everyone. We may plan seminars, invite authors of books to speak, and work with other departments on campus to philosophize about their areas of study.
